Our sympathy to all the family. A special lady for sure. When I called your Mom I would identify myself as the "other Shirley" from Granada! Cal & I first met your parents years ago at Mitchels. We had so much in common with both of them...Ducks, Clanwilliam, Minnedosa and then name Shirley Anne, health issues etc. All will have wonderful memories to cherish. Shirley& Cal Carlson

Our deepest condolences on the loss of your wonderful mother and grandmother. We had lots of fun with your mom (and dad) at Rotary, Ducks Unlimited Dinners and even doing a curling skit with all the Shirley’s dancing and singing to The Good Ship Lollipop like Shirley Temple. She was full of fun! Love Shirley &Jack McDonald

On behalf of the ALMCC - Many thoughts are with the family. Shirley was an inspiration in her interest and dedication to the Assiniboine Ladies Curling Club. After her many years of curling she remained active in attending and supporting the league. May memories bring you comfort.

I worked with Shirley at Stats Canada and she quickly became one of my favorite people. She had a whole lot of good things rolled up into one to make her such a great person. She was humble, kind, fun and genuine. I feel so fortunate to have been her friend. My sincere condolences to her family.
