Pieter, you were so much more than a student—you were a dear friend and a cherished part of our dance family. Always ready to lend a hand, you gave so much of yourself to our studio and the people in it. As your dance instructor , I had the privilege of watching you grow as a dancer. Year after year, you put yourself out there in our showcases, and I was always proud to see you step onto that floor. Your willingness to try, your dedication, and your generous heart meant more than you probably ever knew. Our gala will not be the same this year without you. I will miss seeing you on the dance floor, but even more, I will miss the person who brought so much heart to it. We will miss you dearly, Pieter.
