LENORE DIANE KATHERINE KIZNEY (NEE CISAR)

It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the death of my wife Lenore, soul mate, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at the Grace Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba, less than a month short of her 80th birthday.

Lenore lived her entire life in Winnipeg but enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Lake of the Woods, and vacation time in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, Honilulu, Hawaii and Las Vegas.

Left to grieve are Ron Kizney, her husband of 60 years; her daughter Kimberly Michelle Kizney, granddaughter Kathleen Mae Cruden; nephews Bruce McDonald (Laurie) Huntington Beach, CA, Brian McDonald (Ardie) Woodland Hills, CA, niece Nicole Perron, Maple Ridge, BC, grand nephews Iam McDonald and Ellis McDonald LOs Angeles CA, grand niece Hailey Bull, Maple Ridge BC, godson Michael Dale, Winnipeg, and “the sister that she chose” Pat Reff (Joe) St Albert, Alberta as well as so many dear friends that she made throughout her life.

Lenore was predeceased by her parents Myron and Helena Czar, stepbrother Alex Cisar, and her dear sister, Anna McDonald.

Lenore enjoyed a fabulous career in travel that spanned over 25 years in sales, reservations, and operations, with industry leaders such as Sunflight Vacation, Geography Club Holidays, Touram, Air Canada Vacations and Canada 3000 Holidays. It gave her the opportunity to travel the world and experience wonders most peolple only dream about. She walked the Great Wall of China, sailed the Yangtze River, road an Elephant in India, walked barefoot along the Seine in Paris at night, saw the Cherry Blossoms in Japan, to name a few, but even more thrilling, catching Wlleye at the lake.
