JOSEPH PAULO SWAIN-FARIA

With shattered hearts and broken souls we announce the passing of our dearly loved son Joseph Paulo Swain-Faria, in the early morning hours of November 17, 2024 at the young age of 32.

Joseph was born 5 1/2 weeks prematurely on October 9, 1992 weighing just 4 lbs. Against the odds he grew strong, loving, kind, caring, funny, intelligent and more perfect everyday and it never changed. He genuinely cared for everyone in his life, no matter if they were family, friends, co-workers or even a stranger in need of kindness. He had the most tender heart that could be hurt deeply, but he’d never say a word about it to protect another’s feelings. His drive to achieve and “do better” as he’d say, was nothing short of awe inspiring.

From making sure he had good grades so he could get a part-time job at 15…to working 3 part-time jobs, while going to school full time and graduating with 3 Diplomas for Academics and Trade. His drive and passion only heightened with the birth of each of his boys, his little hearts. In his words…”my boys deserve everything and that a Dad can be proud of”. The love for his boys was everything and he was the very best Dad a child could hope for.

Ones left to love Joseph are his sons, Ezra, Alistair, Soren, Hayden and Jack – Mother Mandy, Step-Dad Chris, Father Paulo (Sandra), Sisters and Brothers – Devin, Sara (Coasta), Cearra (Lachlan) and Bruno. As well as so many family members, loved ones, friends and co-workers. Spending 5 minutes with my son was all it took to fall in love with his heart.

Joseph was a son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, an uncle, a bestie/friendo and most importantly to him, a Daddy…and he loved us all with all his whole self. Especially his babies.

Joseph had so many interests throughout his life, including working as a roofer when he wasn’t fond of heights, building things, learning new trades, doing breakfasts with his best friends, hanging out with his family…but his music, Anime, Manga and his video games were top on his list when he needed to decompress.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5 at 2:00 p.m. in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel located at 1020 Main Street with public viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service.

Your laugh, your hugs, your love, your dimples, your heart, your presence….YOU will be missed and loved beyond my last breath my beautiful perfect baby boy.

WE LOVE YOU BIGGER THAN THE WORLD BAYBA!!
