Bye for now, Del. We'll catch you later. Auntie Del, you and Uncle Ian were the Giant Redwoods of my youth. No matter how high I looked, there was always more. At fourteen and at the edge of becoming a man, you treated me like one. Hard work and a little shnort at the end of the day. Horses, goats, and so many dogs over the years, you loved them all and made them your family, and us too. And while the days of fishing and bushwhacking, two grouse with one shot, and kicking around in old loggers' camps for souvenirs are long past, the memories have turned into stories that I've shared with my sons many times over the years. Everybody should have an Auntie Del and Uncle Ian in their life. Thank you.
