DECEMBER 6, 1932 – JULY 10, 2026
It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Del, on July 10, 2026, at Rosewood PCH.
She is predeceased by her husband Ian, and her daughter Fe’, her parents and her siblings. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Del chose a career in nursing, starting in Winnipeg, then Rochester, Minnesota, retiring from Beausejour Nursing Home.
Many fond times were had with Del and Ian, whether in Winnipeg, at the homestead in Ladywood, or at Red Rock Lake in the Whiteshell.
We all have many memories of the laughs and smiles we had together. They will stay with us always.
As per her wishes there will be no service. There will be a come and go at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, at 4000 Portage Avenue Winnipeg, on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A private interment will follow at a later date.
We are ever grateful to the nurses and staff at the Rosewood PCH, (Sure Lane), Stonewall, for the kindness and compassion they gave to Del these past 11 years. It will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to War Amps of Canada, or a charity of your choice.
