WILLIAM DAHER

September 4, 1957 – May 29, 2020

William (Willy) passed away in his sleep due to heart failure, early Friday morning, May 29, 2020.

He was a fixture near Main and Jefferson, was happy when someone said a few kind words to him. He would call his mother daily. His bicycle was his mode of transportation and in summer he would bike the 17 km to her personal care home to visit, bringing her treats or trinkets. He loved to go fishing, was an expert fixing bicycles, did odd jobs and would find interesting treasures. Willy lived day-to-day and accepted whatever fate came his way. Sadly, at an early age he suffered from alcoholism and mental disabilities which severely impacted his personal life. Those that took the time to know him, liked Willy, he had a sense of humor.

He is loved, will be missed by his mother Maria Daher, siblings, relatives and friends.
