WILLIAM ALBERT BREMNER On Saturday, November 26, 2011, William died at the Selkirk General Hospital. A longer obituary notice to follow.WILLIAM ALBERT BREMNER Suddenly, on Saturday, November 26, 2011, with his family at his side, Bill died at Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 97 years. Left to forever cherish Bill’s memory are his daughter Sharon and her children Matthew and Meredith of Saanichton, BC; son Barry (Janet); brother Bruce (Wanda); four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Florence Bremner; siblings Alex, Myrtle, Vincent, Arnold and infant Florence. Dad was born and raised in Headingley, MB. He was active all his life and loved hockey, curling, ball, hunting, fishing, gardening and working outside. He drove his car until a week before his death. On Friday, December 2, 2011 a Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Selkirk Legion, 403 Eveline Street, Selkirk, MB.
