WALTER CHUBATY

Suddenly on Sunday, September 15, 2024 Wally passed away at the age of 88 years. He was predeceased by his wife Elaine on August 2, 2024.

Left to cherish his memory are sons; Ashley (Janis), Dwight, Daryl (Dailyn) and daughter Sharlene (Rick), grandchildren Courtney, Garrett (Jenelle) and Jason (Robyn).  Wally was predeceased by his parents Alex and Lena along with several brothers and sisters. He is survived by sister Adele and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dad was born in Roseau River, MB and moved to Winnipeg as a young man. He met Elaine and they were married on August 31, 1957, in Shoal Lake, MB. The family grew quickly to include four children. Wally worked hard all his life to support his family. He retired from the University of Manitoba as a custodian. In his retirement he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, woodworking and his grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place as per his wishes and a private gathering will be held.
