Tom Kaminski
August 29, 1932 – July 27, 2021

The world has lost a gentleman and a “gentle” man. He is deeply loved. Tom passed away peacefully in his home, as were his wishes.

Born in Brandon, long time Winnipeg resident, Tom leaves to mourn his love Daryla; his children Lynn (Alain), Gwen (Tom), Elaine, Bob (Kathy), George (Brenda); 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings include Walter (Rita), Helen (Gene), Eddie, Rosemary (Larry), Marjorie (Matt); and sister-in-law Lorraine. Also left is mother of his children DD Belanger. He was pre-deceased by grandson Stephen; son-in-law Chuck; infant brother Michael; brother Johnny, and sister Maryanne.

After retirement Tom enjoyed many rounds of golf both here and down south. His passions included his strong faith, family gatherings, cribbage and a good scotch. We will truly miss his delicious Christmas snowballs.

The celebration of Tom’s life will take place at a later date.

Special thanks to family, friends and neighbors for their love and support these last several months. Tom was a generous man who believed in sharing, especially with those less fortunate.

Donations may be made to Tom’s favorite charity Society of St Vincent de Paul through St Timothy Parish 135 John Forsyth Road Winnipeg R2N 1R3.

Tom would like to say that if he failed to meet anyone’s expectations, then he sincerely apologizes.

Rest in peace. We will surely miss you.
