Terry Ross McFadden
27 May 1950 – 19 September 2021

Terry passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre Sunday morning.

Last year Terry laid to rest his loving wife of fifty years, Jo-Anne. He was also predeceased by his parents, Calvin “Kelly” and Phyllis, and leaves to remember his life; siblings Fay (Jesse) and Brad (Laura) as well as his sons, Brock (Anna), Colin, and Kegan, and grandson Shae.

Born in Glenboro Manitoba, Terry was a hard-working kid that played baseball and had a mind for solving problems. He went on to forge a successful career as a software developer, having co-founded Spectra Computers in the 1980s. He was devoted to providing a good life for his family and instilled in his children the nuance of a teasing joke. Terry would unwind over a round of golf, a game of backgammon or dominos, and enjoyed reading old Westerns. Terry and Jo-Anne loved having dogs in their home and over the decades cared for several.

One of Terry’s last wishes was to sit in the garden and watch the dogs play.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to a local animal shelter.
