Sheldon Ernest Romas
June 10,1962-June 12,2025

Peacefully and with family surrounding him, Sheldon passed away two days after his sixty third birthday .

He was predeceased by his parents Ernie(2011) and Ramona(2003).

Sheldon was a cherished brother to Shawn(Jill), Brett(Brenda) and Burke (Susanne), also the fun uncle to Jordan (Vanessa), Nathan (Melody), Hunter (Riley) and Allison (Everett);
Great uncle to Brynn, Vincent and Felix and a lifelong best friend to Mike (Eileen) children Krystal and Kathleen, that was more of a brotherhood forged since childhood.

Sheldon was a proud Wolseley boy that built many friendships and connections along the way. He immersed himself in playing and watching sports. Particularly hockey, football, soccer, baseball, bowling, curling and later in life Poker.

His joy was found in his family, especially being a supportive uncle at nephews and Nieces activities. Always the big loveable bear cheering from the sidelines. His loveable laughter and amazing bear hugs will be greatly missed.

Education was a significant part of Sheldon’s journey as he graduated from the University of Manitoba with an education degree. He worked at Stanley Knowles and Gordon Bell schools.

Sheldon faced life’s challenges with a smile, fighting spirit and positivity until the end.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the amazing team of Doctors and Nurses at the Grace General Hospital ICU unit, whose compassion and care were invaluable.

Sheldon leaves a legacy of love, laughter and resilience. He will be greatly missed by us all.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Royal Canadian Legion # 4 at 1:30 p.m., 1755 Portage Ave, Winnipeg.
