My sister and I could find fun in anything and anywhere. In 2011 we took a trip together to Ireland and on the way there we got stranded in Toronto due to a plane malfunction. While others were unhappy, we just looked at each other and said we are on vacation, let's enjoy it. So off we went to enjoy a few drinks and laughs at the hotel bar. I will miss her dearly and can't find the words to fully express my sadness. Condolences to Bob, my nieces and nephews and their families. Love, Uncle Brian

My sincere condolences to Denise's family. I worked with Denise when I first started teaching at Frontenac School. I appreciated how kind and caring Denise was to me being a new teacher. The memories of her were always of laughter and compassion towards students and staff.

My deepest condolences to the Manning family. I grew up next door to the Mannings. Denise was a wonderful friend of my mother's. They would regularly meet for coffee, bridge, crossword puzzles, or just to talk. She was a wonderful friend, and will be deeply missed.
