Kruesel presider.Publish Date: May 26, 2012SCHARIE SMITH (CAROL LOOS) It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear sister Scharie, at the Grace Hospital, on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Left to forever cherish Scharie’s memory are her brothers Warren (Gail) and Douglas (Elinore); two nephews, six nieces and their families; as well as cousins, aunts and uncles. Scharie was born January 19, 1945 in London, Ontario to Shirley Snyder (aka Molly Loos) and Gordon Loos. She was raised in Winnipeg. Together with her mother they loved to vacation together and enjoyed many happy trips – their favourite being Hawaii. Scharie’s Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., in Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 708 McCalman Ave., Winnipeg with Rev. R. Kruesel presider. Please be advised the Church is wheelchair accessible. The family extends a most sincere thank you to the ICU staff at Grace Hospital – you are all special people. Flowers are gratefully declined.
