ROY GORDON MILLAR
JANUARY 23, 1932 – JULY 8, 2026
At 94 years with Family at his side, Roy passed away in the wee hours of July 8, 2026 at Calvary Place (PCH).
Roy was one of eight children of Andrew and Anne Millar (Roy, Wilfred, Paul, Richard, Eva, Emily, Renna and Margaret).
Roy leaves behind to mourn his stepson, Bob (Joy), grandchildren, Heath (Brigitte), Alea (Ben); great grandchildren (Ethan, Aurora, Andi, Nora, Brooks), brother Paul, sister Emily, sisters-in-law Rita and Monika and nephews and nieces.
Roy was predeceased by Helen (nee Falk), his wife of 48 years and stepson Dennis.
Roy was born in Dauphin, MB and the family lived in Fork River, MB. When Bob asked if there was a river in town, Roy said he swam in it, Bob replied “I didn’t know you could swim” Roy smiled and said, “dog paddle”.
Dad, grandpa, great grandpa, rest in peace.
An outdoor Family memorial service will be on Saturday July 25 at 3:00 pm
