RAYMOND JULES JOSEPH LECLERC

Peacefully, after a lengthy and courageous battle with COPD; it is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Leclerc, on Thursday May 8th, 2025 at the Ste Anne Hospital at the age of 70.

Raymond is survived by his 3 children Anthony (Adrienne), Chantelle, and Anita (Dean) his granddaughters Chassie and Lorelei, his brother Robert (Paulette) and sister Lillian as well as numerous *favorite* nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Raymond is predeceased by his parents Antonio and Delia (Belisle) brothers Henry, Paul, Leonard and Jules, sisters Lucienne, Marie, and Georgette.

Raymond was born in Lorette, MB, where he resided his entire life. Raymond purchased a property from his Uncle in 1985 and 11 years later, with the help of some friends and family, built his dream home, where he raised his 3 children.

Raymond was a jack of all trades. He worked as a DJ, a job he had great passion for. He then worked as a train conductor hauling water for the City of Winnipeg. In order to spend more time with his children, Raymond took on the role of Maintenance worker for the City of Winnipeg’s South End Water pollution control center. He worked there for many years before retiring at the age of 55.

Raymond had many passions in life. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish, hunt and go snowmobiling. Another passion of his was working on his yard. He took great pride in his yard and loved having friends and family over to play games and have bonfires. He also had a love for roller skating and playing Ping Pong.

Raymond was a one of kind person with a big heart and a welcoming smile and will be sadly missed by so many.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Ste. Anne Hospital for their dedication and care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Manitoba Lung Association.
