August 7, 1943 - October 27, 2026

In Loving Memory of Raymond Armand Faucher
1943–2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Raymond Faucher on October 27, 2026 at the age of 83. Raymond was surrounded by his loving family.

Raymond was born in Treherne, MB and grew up on a farm in Notre-Dames-Des-Lourdes before moving to Winnipeg, MB. Raymond completed his certificate for the Meat Cutting program at a technical college in Winnipeg and then spent his working career as a meat cutter, starting at Jack Forgan Meats, then moving on to Burns/Maple Leaf Meats, and retiring at the age of 65. Raymond enjoyed visiting casinos with his wife Terry, he was an avid hockey fan, with the Habs as his all-time favorite team. After retirement he spent a lot of time out at the family get-away located just outside of Carmen. This was known as “Le Shack” to everyone in the family and it was the gathering spot for many family events/functions.

Raymond was a devoted husband to his wife Therese, with whom he shared almost 61 years of marriage. He was a loving father to Ken and Bryan.

Raymond was predeceased by his parents Napoleon Faucher and Matilde Faucher (nee, Boulet), sister Angèle, his parents-in-law Joseph Mangin and Elizabeth Mangin (nee Murray).

Raymond is survived by his wife Therese, sons Ken (Michelle) and Bryan, his siblings; Therese, Cecile, Lorraine, Annette (Moe), Gilbert (Robin), Réal (Helen), brother in law George, sisters-in-laws Madeline and Marie, and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

A proud and loving family man, Raymond will be remembered for his quiet resolve, he was a man of few words. He was a kind and generous man, always willing to help friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Raymond’s memory to a charity of your choosing.
