We sadly announce the sudden passing of our mother Myra Amer, with family by her side, at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 76 years.
Myra will be lovingly remembered by sons, Darryl and Patrick (Joanna); as well as family and friends. She is also survived by her brother Al (Jocelyn)
Myra was born in Brandon Manitoba, the youngest of four and soon moved to Winnipeg. She met her husband Glen, predeceased (2016), and were married for 50 years. Myra was a very thoughtful, generous and caring person with a great sense of humour that we will all miss.
In keeping with Myra’s wishes a private celebration of life will be held at a later date and she will be laid to rest with the love of her life.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may donate to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
