Michael Shane Whiteside

It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Michael Shane Whiteside on April 11, 2026, at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Shane was born in Calgary, Alberta, on December 23, 1970. Beloved husband of Joy-Anne Whiteside and father to Harley, Johanna and Jesse. He leaves behind his mother Shirley Quiring, his father Michael Whiteside, Stepmother/ Godmother Jo Ann Whiteside, his Stepbrother Rick (& Karen), & numerous aunts, uncles, & cousins & friends.

An esteemed DJ who made friends with everyone. He will be surely missed by all who knew him.
