MICHAEL GEORGE LEFEBVRE

1961-2020

On Thursday, October 1, 2020 the world lost a wonderful person. Michael passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre with his family by his side at the age of 59 years.

Remaining to forever cherish Michael’s memory is Anne, his beloved wife of 34 years; his son Andrew and wife Haley and grandchildren Jack and Sadie; daughter Jess and future son-in-law Miguel and granddaughter, Addison. Michael is survived by his much-loved Dad, George. Also left to mourn him are his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marg and Bruce Devries, and numerous nieces, his nephew, cousins, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his Mom, his in-laws and many relatives and friends.

Michael was born overseas (in Germany) on August 14,1961. His family moved back to Portage la Prairie when he was six months old. They moved to Winnipeg when he was six years old and he grew up on Athlone Drive.

On October 2,1982 Michael met Anne. They each had found the love of their lives. They were married on August 2,1986 and built a wonderful life and a loving family together. Family was the driving force for Michael. He so loved each and every one of us.

Michael loved working at Bristol Aerospace and had retired in June of 2019. He made many good friends there, and he valued their friendships.

He loved the cottage at Rush Bay, and we have many wonderful memories of lake life. He loved his Saturday morning hockey guys, golfing on Thursday nights in Teulon, golfing with friends, and he loved hockey, the Jets, and the Blue Bombers.

A private family service will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020.
