MARY WILLOWS 

(NEE AIRD)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary on January 28, 2020 at the age of 95.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Marnie (Frank) Palmer, Ian (Rhonda), Brent (Janice), Bruce (Michelle) Willows and her grandchildren: Jeff, Kyleigh (Chase), Erika, Brett, Riley, and Christopher.

Mary was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Tom, her sisters Margaret and Ailsa, brother Ian, as well as her grandchildren Nicole and Michael.

Mom lived her life with a kind and generous heart. In her youth she enjoyed highland dancing and speedskating and continued to skate with her grandkids well into her seventies. She had an eye for fashion and enjoyed sewing her own clothes and decorating her home and cottage. She loved the family times at Victoria Beach and enjoyed her winter vacations with Tom in Cuba, Mexico, Hawaii, and Jamaica as well as those special road trips to Brandon. But Mom’s passion was her family, especially her grandkids, who she was extremely proud of. She spent countless hours babysitting and attending their activities. They all loved their sleepovers at Grandma’s, where she would spoil them rotten.

Our sincere thanks to the staff at the Charleswood Care Center for their dedication and kindness during her stay there.

In accordance with Mary’s wishes a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
