MARY POMANSKI

1928 – 2021

Mary Pomanski passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, on April 8, 2021 at the Lions Personal Care Centre in Winnipeg.

Mary will be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved her, as a hard working, determined and resilient individual. Mary encountered many challenges and difficulties in her life but guided by her faith she faced them with strength and tenacity. She was a long-standing member of St. Ignatius Church and was a dedicated volunteer, providing many hours of service. Mary will be dearly missed by her parish community, as well as by her special friends Theresa and Chantal.

We would like to thank the Lions Personal Care Centre for the excellent care Mary received, with special thanks to nurses Dawn and Lisa.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held on Friday April 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford Street, with Rev. Fr. Frank Obrigewitsch presiding. Given Covid restrictions, those wishing to attend in person should register via the St. Ignatius website at www.stignatius.ca. Mass can also be live streamed via the same website.
