Mary Catherine (McFadyen) Coughlin

Mary Coughlin passed away Friday October 17th, peacefully in the presence of her daughters. Her life was full of family, friends and travel. Mom and Dad, who were together over 65 years, built our family piece by piece and gave us a magical home at the lake where we could gather. Mom taught us that without family and love there is nothing. We will continue living up to the beautiful life she has built for us.

Mary, Mom, Gram and Great Grammy will forever be lovingly remembered by her daughters Catherine (Robert), Christy (Leroy), Cory (Dave), Patti (James), Elizabeth (Douglas), Amy (Dave) and grandchildren Bridget (Chris), Cooper, Victoria (Diego), Cody (Kim), Payton (Janine), Ben (Chelsey), Courtney (David). She will be greatly missed by her great grandchildren Grayson, McKenna, Tatiana, Liam, Lucy, Hunter, Olivia and Juliana.

Mom is survived by her sister Lesley and sister-in-law Mary Ann as well as many nieces and nephews.

We are grateful to Nancy for the companionship she has given Mom for the last 8 years.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the kindness and comfort provided to Mom at the Selkirk Regional Hospital. Special Thank you to the Outpatient Clinic staff, ER staff, all her Doctors, Nurses and Health Care Aides.

Please join us for a celebration of her life on Sunday November 30th, 2025 at 11:00am. Breezy Bend Country Club 7620 Roblin Blvd, Headingley MB. Tea and sandwiches to follow.
