MARGARET MILLICENT BROWN

With deep sadness, Margaret’s family announces that she passed away peacefully at Grace Hospital on February 16, 2020, at the age of 91.

She will be greatly missed by Arnold, her husband of 71 years, and by her children Judy, Linda (Bruce) and Dan (Denice), as well as by her grandchildren: Ian (Anne), Kyle (Mel), Joanna (Daniel), Jacob and Madison, and great-grandchildren Miriam, Nathan and Samuel.

Margaret was born and brought up in St. James and is predeceased by her parents William and Lillian Faye Lord and her sister Evelyn (Ammeter).  Margaret will be remembered by family and friends for her unfailing generosity and kindness.  She enjoyed the daily newspaper puzzles (all of them), baking for the family, lunch meetings with her long-time friends the “Jugs”, and trips to the cottage in the summer.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to all the staff of the Grace Hospital South Medical wing for their care and compassion for Margaret during her illness.

If you wish, in lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to a charity of your choice.
