I am so sorry that I am unable to attend the celebration of Marcel’s life, which was indeed a life well lived. I have so many memories of Jeannette and Marcel. Your family built my deck at Victoria Beach. Marcel shopped with me to tell me what I needed to buy. He also built window boxes for the cottage and once, during a particularly long power outage, showed up at my door with 2 blocks of ice for the freezer. They always came for dinners and brunches at the lake ,carrying too many of their own contributions. I walk past your family cottage still with a heavy heart missing Jeannette all the time. They were a fantastic couple and I truly hope they are together again.What wonderful, engaged and loving parents you had. They were role models who had high standards and expectations too. I remember Jeannette saying, “Charbonneaus don’t quit!” I hope the rest of the family is well as this is a difficult time It’s lovely that Marcel was able to be at home. Take care❤️🥲.
