MABEL ISABEL MONETTE

(NEE MILJOUR)

1930 – 2020

Peacefully, on January 16, 2020, Mabel passed away with family by her side at the age of 89 years.

Mabel was predeceased by her loving husband Rex, and her son Stephen. She is survived by her daughters Donna and Sherry (David), grandchildren Martin, Rikki (Jason), Ashlei (Thomas), Andrew, Alex (Domini), and great-grandchildren Geddy and Esther.

Mabel loved gardening, cooking, reading, and entertaining. She also loved classical music and playing the organ.

Being one of Jehovah’s Witnesses was a very important part of Mabel’s life. She spent many happy hours witnessing and enjoying the fellowship of her spiritual brothers and sisters.

Due to failing health Mabel spent the last few years of her life at Misericordia Place. The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff on MP3 for the love, care, tenderness and compassion that they showed Mabel.

There will be a service held on Friday January 24, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue @ Sharp Boulevard. Interment announcement to follow.
