She also loved camping with her husband, children, and grandchildren, creating special memories in nature with her family by her side. Louise had a passion for curling, enjoying both playing with her close friends and following the sport on television. One of her greatest joys was gathering with friends for their daily coffee at the Kaffee Haus, sharing laughter, stories, and companionship.
She also loved staying active and enjoyed exercising with her friends in both Gimli and Winnipeg. These regular activities kept her energized, and she relished the camaraderie they brought.
Louise had a deep love for traveling with her family, cherishing every adventure they took together. Some of her favorite times were road trips to Grand Forks with her sisters, where they laughed nonstop and shopped till they dropped. She also treasured trips with her daughters to New York and San Francisco, making unforgettable memories exploring the cities together. Louise loved visiting her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren in British Columbia, creating cherished memories with them. In October 2024, she traveled with her family to Palm Springs, where she embraced adventure and hiked Tahquitz Canyon and Andreas Canyon. She didn’t miss a beat, proving to be a true trooper on the long hikes, taking in the beauty of the landscape with determination and joy.
In her later years, she moved to Winnipeg, where she found joy in new friendships and spent cherished time with her family. Her warmth, resilience, and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
