LORI DAWN DERKSEN

(NEE ANDERSON)

With deep sorrow, our family announces the passing of Lori at the St. Boniface Hospital on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the age of 62.

Lori was predeceased by her husband Norman in 2015, as well as her father Wilfred (Marjorie). She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved daughter Nikki Feal, son Kristopher, grandchildren Matthew and Audrey, her mother Laverne and step-father Carl, sister Holly (Ray), brother Kevin, nephew Ray and nieces Courtney and Jocelyn, as well as aunts, many cousins and treasured friends.

Lori had a rewarding career as an Educational Assistant working with children who required more one-on-one attention. She enjoyed trying new crafts and developed a passion and talent in each one she tried. She was also known for her yummy baking for any occasion and loved to sing.

Lori was a kind and loving soul who always was ready and willing to listen to anyone who needed. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
