JOAN VIOLET ROWLAND

February 6, 1931 to April 22, 2021

After a full and faith filled life, Joan Violet Rowland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22, 2021. She has now been lovingly reunited in heaven with her husband and love of her life, Gordon Rowland. Joan leaves to cherish her memory her 3 children, Jill (Terry), Janet (Brian) and Gary (Tracy) as well as 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. Joan will also be forever remembered by her sister Beatrice and brother Teddy as well as many other loved family members. Joan was predeceased by her brother Bill and parents, William and Rita Lloyd.

Joan has left a legacy of love for all who knew her, but especially for her family. Joan’s family was always her first priority. Her family feels so blessed to have had such an amazing lady as their mom, Nana, great grandma, friend, cheerleader, mentor and role model. Joan touched so many hearts and always had a way of making everyone feel valued and loved. She was a kind and gentle soul who loved unconditionally. Heaven has gained another angel.

For those who have been faithful, O Lord, life is not ended, but merely changed; and when this earthly abode dissolves, an eternal dwelling place awaits them in heaven.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
