JOAN ANN CULBERTSON

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Ann Culbertson on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Grace Hospital at the age of 85 years.

Left to mourn Joan’s memory are her children Ronald Culbertson (Barb), Richard Culbertson (Jane Clarke) and Lynne Bellefleur (Claude); as well as grandchildren Matthew Warnez (Sheena), Jordyn Pettigrew (Georden) and great grandchildren Jovi, Ranger, Royal and Jersey (and her favourite pooch Millie)

Joan had a successful career with Air Canada in the Finance Department until she retired at 62 years of age. She enjoyed lifetime friendships with her Sorority Sisters and also her Dinner Club friends. Many happy hours were spent at the lake (Grand Beach) with her best friends, Muriel Miller, Marg Kirby and their wonderful families.

A celebration of Joan’s life will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Shrine House, 1155 Wilkes Avenue.

A special thanks to Dr. George and staff at Grace Hospital for his kindness in Joan’s last days.

If you wish, donations may be made in Joan’s name to the Shrine Transportation Fund through the Shrine House.
