JESSIE W. JONES
After a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s and other health issues, Jessie passed away peacefully on February 16, 2021 at Health Sciences Centre.
Jessie was born on March 8, 1940 in Glasgow, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1958 with her twin sister Isabel. She enjoyed stamp collecting, golfing and researching family history.
Jessie will be missed by her family Larry, Allan, Carol, Matthew, Nicole, Stella, Sara, Brad and Brooklyn. She was predeceased by her sisters and daughter, Karen.
According to Jessie’s wishes a private, family interment will happen at a later date in Winnipeg. Also, some of Jessie’s and Isabel’s ashes will be taken home to Scotland.
