JADWIGA JOANNA BUDZINSKI

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jadwiga (Jagoda) on Monday, September 4^th, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jadwiga was born July 22, 1957, in Katy Wroclawskie, Poland, to Jan and Maria (Swierczek) Demida. She is survived by her children, son Jason Budzinski and daughter Camella Budzinski; Husband Roman Budzinski; Sister Danuta Demida and brother Janusz Demida, as well as many cousins and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jan and Marysia Demida, as well as her brother Wieslaw Demida.

Mom enjoyed spending lots of her time in her garden, taking care of her beautiful flowers. Memorable moments with her include picking mushrooms and blueberries, as well as putting together puzzles as a family. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her son and daughter, and it meant the world to her when they would come to visit.

Mom always seemed to have a positive outlook, even with everything that she had been through. We will greatly miss our time together.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, to remember her life.

We would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre, and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, for all of their care and compassion. As well, we would like to thank family and friends in being present and spending time with her, it brought her joy.
