IRMA FRIEDA MATTHES

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our dear mother Irma on Friday, October 25, 2019 following a brief illness at the age of 93 years.

Irma was predeceased by her husband, Helmut. Remaining to forever cherish Irma’s memory are her son and daughter in law, Norman and Heather Matthes.

On Saturday, November 2, 2019, Irma’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue @ Sharp Boulevard, Winnipeg.

The family would like to send a special thanks to all those who assisted us with Irma’s care, including Home Care, the ambulance attendants, the nurses, doctors and staff at the Grace Hospital, neighbours, friends and family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irma’s memory to The Salvation Army, Rm 203 – 290 Vaughan Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3B 2N8.
