Obituaries

IRENE HARVIE January 22, 1924 – April 8, 2012 Peacefully in her sleep, Irene Harvie (nee Meadows) passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012, in St. Adolph, Manitoba. Left to cherish Irene’s memory are her brothers Don, Jack (Olga), Eric; sister Ruth; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Ben; her parents; one sister; and three brothers. After graduating from high school, Irene worked at a War Plant in Ajax, Ontario, to put herself through nursing school where she graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1948. In compliance with Irene’s wishes a family Service will be held in Stockholm, Saskatchewan, at a later date. Special thanks go out to our brother Eric who spent so much time visiting her, bringing her special homemade food and just being her friend.
