HELEN (TENA) LEGRANGE

Our family is deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Helen on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the age of 99 years.

Beloved mother of Herb (Claire) and Gail. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Michael (Heather), Guy, Doug (Kerri), Darcy, Shannon (Fabio), Leanne (Ryan); her great grandchildren; as well as son-in-law Frank McNabb (Lesley). She was predeceased by her husband George; daughter Joyce and son-in-law Wally Bewza.

Mom was born in Morden and after George returned from serving overseas they farmed in Morden for 25 years before moving to Winnipeg. Mom loved to cook, do crafts and crossword puzzles, knit and garden. Her greatest treasures were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Special thanks for all the kind and gentle care provided by the staff on the third floor of Golden West Centennial Lodge, it gave mom great comfort and made her feel special and loved, and she truly was.

In keeping with Mom’s wishes, a private family interment will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
