HELEN KELBERT

HELEN KELBERT (nee GERBRANDT) of Winnipeg passed away Sep 11, 2022, at the age of 90. She is survived by her son Bruce (Colleen), daughter Gwendolyn (Darrell), her grandchildren Braxton, Brody, Julia, Kelsey, and Michael, her sister Justina, and her brother Diedrich (Ida). She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years Victor Charles.

Helen worked unto her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through her industry at home and the many ministries she served. With her circle of friends, she prayed for the spiritual wellbeing of friends and family and took every opportunity to be a part of their lives. She regularly encouraged each of them with cards and notes, expressing her love and thankfulness, and always sharing a Bible verse. She now knows what her faith had hoped.

The funeral will be held Mon, Sep 19, 11:00 AM at Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Drive in Winnipeg, Pastor Greg Wiens officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to service, with a reception immediately following the service. Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens following the reception.
