January 21, 1944 - April 6, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Hector Parisien on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the age of 75.
Hector is survived by his son Daniel, daughter Claudette, six grandchildren, Corene, Seneca, Phoenix, Mystique, Devlin, and Kache-Lynn, sister’s Lorraine Marcoux and Gloria Smith, brother’s Dave (Karen), and Andy Parisien, sister in law Maureen Parisien, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by wife Jacklyn, parent’s Joseph and Alma Parisien, sister’s Olive Tencha, Leona Batenchuck, brother’s Theo Phile and Armand Parisien, sisters in law Gladys and Beatrice Parisien, brothers in law Albert Tencha, Victor Batenchuck, Adolph Marcoux and Al Smith.
Hector was an avid Montreal Canadiens and Winnipeg Jets hockey fan. One of his hobbies was customizing his bike. He took great pride in showing it off while cruising the Forks. Hector was also a cat lover and will be missed by his deeply loved cat Monet. He was always sharply dressed and had a wide collection of hats and sunglasses. Hector had a larger than life personality and loved nothing more than to share his stories.
A celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue.
