HARVEY V. G. WHEATON “HARV”
It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Harvey Wheaton.
Harvey will be lovingly remembered by his children, Cheryl, Jason and Jamie; grandchildren; siblings Nadine (Kenton) and Lynda (Brian); and his many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his “POPS” Fred, his father Ernest and mother Mary; siblings Norris, Marilyn, Marlene and Denise and his best friend Neil.
Harvey had a great love for fishing and enjoyed putting many “SLOW MILES” on vehicles while driving around Poplar Bay Resort and the surrounding Lac du Bonnet area. These simple moments brought him happiness and created many fond memories for those who knew and loved him.
In honor of Harvey’s memory, his ashes will be spread on the Winnipeg River near Lac du Bonnet, close to one of his favorite places, Poplar Bay Resort. This will take place in the Spring of 2027 with further details and arrangements to be shared with family and friends closer to the date.
A special Thank you to Harv’s Kin Place family for your love and care to him and his niece Bonny “always” and in his final days!
