Dear Helen and family, I was so sorry to hear of Les' passing. We shared so many memorable times both at work and socially.

Leslie was a quiet man with a big smile. He has touched so many people in many different ways. He will always be remembered but never forgotten. My sympathies go to Helen and the rest of the family during this time

Dear Helen and Family, I met Les Jones 40 years ago as a new 20 year old pharmacy student at HSC. Junior pharmacy students as we were called back in the day spent lots of time with the "Boys in the back" Les being one of 3. Les was a wonderful person to work with; a professional and a friend. He took me under his wing. Les and I shared many bus rides home together as we were both St. James residents. Some of the regulars of those bus rides were folks coming home from their workplace duties. They liked to call each other "Tookie". Les took to calling me "Tookie" or "Tookie Tackaberry" (Tackaberry being my maiden name back then). The most notable bus ride was the day Mt Helena erupted. Les and I were awaiting a bus transfer at Valour Rd and Portage covered in soot wondering "what the heck is going on??" I was thrilled to be invited to and be able to attend Les and Helen's wedding 28 years ago! Please know how important to me the positive impact Les had on my life. I carry that for my forever. My Deepest Condolences, Laurie Lipinski

Dear Helen and family, I am so sorry for your loss. You can be sure that Les was loved by many as this message comes from Victoria, BC. I worked with Les from 1977 - 1998 when I loved to Victoria. I have a lot of fond memories of him. He was an extremely good man with a wonderful sense of humour and a warm heart. Jan Crowe (formerly known as JP)
