GEORGE WEREMCHUK

Peacefully, after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of George Weremchuk, on July 16, 2021 at the Health Science Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 92.

Born May 7, 1929 to Tymofiy and Matrona Weremchuk, he grew up on a farm in Gardenton, Manitoba, later moved to Winnipeg, MB.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister; Eva Schultz; his brother Jerry Weremchuk; nephews and nieces.

George is predeceased by his parents; and brothers Mike, Roman, Arnold and Eugene.

George began his career at CN and retired CN Car Inspector. His proudest moments were his travels throughout the world where he would spend years making friends and enjoying different cultures.

George had a dashing charisma. He was kind to all, loved his family and friends and had a great sense of humor, and above all he dedicated his life to serving Jehovah God truly and faithfully.

Service will be held Friday July 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Wojciks Chapel of Memories, 1020 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
