Dear Mr. Willits and the whole Willits clan. I am so sorry for your loss. Your wife/mother was such a special lady - her obituary is spot on, describing her gift to make everyone feel special - she sure did for me as a goofy teenager as she welcomed me into her warm home filled with love that always had a place for a visitor at the dinner table, loaded with delicious food and loads of ribbing and laughter. Later, when our paths would cross, and even though years had passed between those chance encounters, she would greet me with such affection and interest, inquiring about my life and telling me with pride about her newest grandchildren as if we had just talked the week prior. Her and Mr. Willits' devotion for each other has always been an inspiration for me and I am sure many more. In addition, the two of you together have raised such lovely children- you all have been blessed to have had each other, and me for knowing you both. My thoughts and best wishes are with you all.

So sorry for your loss. Mrs. Willits was always a lady. As a family, we would visit the Willits home as we were growing up and I remember her to be a soft-spoken, kind, generous, pretty woman with her hair done to perfection. I would see her over the years as she visited my parents in Dartmouth and she never seemed to change. It was always a pleasure to see her and Mr. Willits May there be comfort in knowing that someone so special will never be forgotten.

We will always remember Fran for her sweet smile and her kindness towards everyone when she visited Gary, Holley and Caelyn in St. Albert. She became part of our Murray Crescent family. Seeing the van from Winnipeg pull up to the crescent made us all smile. She was so proud of her family. Lloyd and I are so sorry for your loss.

I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. May the soul of your mother and wife be at peace with our Heavenly Father. Mrs. Willits will be missed by many as she touch so many soles in this life. Every time my mother and father would pile us kids in the car for a drive to the Willits house I can remember not one of us was ever disappointed to leave our friends to visit the Willits family and looked forward to visit with Mrs Willits. She always had a smile that would light up a room, I am so glad I had the opportunity to visit with her in 2017 and again when I left that afternoon I had a warm calm feeling in me, she was so worried about me and if I had something to eat and drink, never thinking about herself.

What a loss! What a friendship we had as sisters! Fran had such a gentle manner about her, always thinking about other people, compassionate and lovable. This picture says it all. Our sympathy goes out to all the family, especially to her loving husband....Larry.

To the Willits Family, You are so fortunate to have had a wife, mom, grandmother, sister, aunt who loved so deeply. With every connection Fran made she left that person feeling special and genuinely loved, she was so impactful that even brief encounters had lasting effects on others. I don’t think Fran herself knew the depth of her presence here in this world...but we do. Our heart aches for our loss but “being deeply loved gives you strength” and that is just one of the gifts Fran gave me. Graceful to the end in perfect Fran style. I love you Fran and I’m sending love to all your family during this difficult time.
