EVELYN (EV) REID On Sunday, November 27, 2011, Ev died at Oakview Place Personal Care Home at the age of 94 years. A longer obituary notice to follow.EVELYN (EV) ROSE REID Our family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved Ev, Mom, Gran and Great-Gran on Sunday, November 27, 2011, at the Oakview Place Personal Care Home at the age of 94 years. Remaining to forever cherish Ev’s memory are daughters, Gloria (Boris) and Ferne (Gary); granddaughters, Colleen (Vince), June (Bruce), Teauna and Kyra (Mike); great-grandchildren, Nicole, Nathan, Nick, Raylene, Cyeauna, Karisma and Kyson. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Carmen. She was predeceased by her husband Len in 2009. Ev was born on December 26, 1916, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Funeral Service will take place Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue @ Sharp Boulevard. Our family would like to thank the staff at Oakview Place for all their care and compassion.
