Emma Hofer

The family of Emma Hofer are saddened to announce her passing on July 31, 2021, at the age of 90 years.

Emma was born on September 27, 1930, in Elie, Manitoba. She is survived by her children, Sam, Richard (Edna), Doreen (Garry), Phillip, Ben, Martin, and Edna (Geoff); Grandchildren, Holly, Allary, Chelsea, Wade, Derek, Christopher, Lewis, Jason, Charlotte, Stella, Declan, Eve, Natasha and Malachi; Great Grandchildren, Kira, Isabella, Bobby, Tommy, Hank, Sylvia, Scarlett and Milo; sisters Mary and Esther. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Samuel, and daughter Lynda.

Emma lived a long, contented life. She was always there for everyone, especially her family. She was extremely generous and thought of others more than herself. She loved her church friends and enjoyed her visits at church and whenever she could get together with them.

The door to her home was always open to her family and friends. She welcomed them warmly. She was fond of seeing her family together enjoying themselves for a holiday meal or whatever the occasion.

Emma loved to read and whenever she did read something, it had to be history and non-fiction. She then enjoyed sharing her stories with others. Rest in peace, Emma. We love you.

A private gathering is planned for family and friends.
