ELVIRA (VI) ELSIE HEUKEROTH
JULY 7, 1934 TO SEPTEMBER 29, 2021

We are sad to announce the passing of Vi on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 after a short stay at the Grace Hospital.

Vi was born on July 7, 1934 and raised in Alberta. While in Alberta, Vi trained to become an LPN and she worked in several Alberta Hospitals prior to moving to Winnipeg. Winnipeg became her home and she worked at the Graham Medical Clinic with Dr. N. Smith and retired from the Winnipeg Clinic.

Vi will be missed by family and friends at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, which she attended for over 50 years, and where she was a proud long-standing member of the Altar Guild. For several years, Vi resided at Villa Cabrini and she will be missed by many friends.

Vi was very appreciative of the support she received from her home care team which helped her to remain in her own home. Thank you to the Doctor’s, Nurses and teams at the Grace Hospital for the excellent care given to Vi during her stay.

A memorial service for Vi will be held at a later date.

As per Vi’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Vi can be made to St. Michael and All Angels Church, 300 Hugo Street N., Winnipeg, MB, R3M 2N7.
