EILEEN PULLEN

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen Pullen.

Eileen was born October 3, 1918, in London, England and passed away May 3, 2022, age 103 at Oakview place in Winnipeg.

Eileen lived a full life. She loved to travel, reading, challenging herself with crosswords, sudoku, and other puzzles. She was a very social person and volunteered for the ALS Society of MB when in good health. She was also a wonderful cook.

Her family and extended family were very important to her and will miss her dearly.

She is survived by, her daughter Diana Rasmussen, son Henry Pullen along with grand children, James, Stuart (Yumi), David, Myles (Crystal) , Mark (Sabrina) and great grand children – Seattle Anne, Cam, Edwin, Hayleigh and Liam and all the Rasmussen family and many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Harry- the light of her life, mother – Maud, mother-in-law – Beatrice and son in law Ed Rasmussen and her furry friend Daisy whose picture was on her wall and a constant companion.

Her written wishes were simple and clear – cremation, no funeral

Eileen would say live your life with no regrets. A family gathering at a later date will be held to raise a glass in her honor.

Eileen is on a new journey now meeting friends and family long gone and flying with the angels.

Special thanks to Oakview Place 2nd floor nursing staff, where our mother spent the last 9 years. Thank you to all the staff throughout the building that came to love her and gave her care and support from kitchen, hairdresser, housekeeping, and recreation.
