DOUGLAS ALLEN COOPER
APRIL 1, 1965 – SEPTEMBER 3, 2021

Suddenly, after a brief battle with cancer, Doug passed away at the age of 56, at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by his loved ones. He will be forever missed by his daughter Haley; spouse Lesley (Ryan and granddaughter Lucy); brother Kevin (Angie and Betker families); parents Doug and Janet; ex-wife Keri; his beloved dogs Ivy and Mini, along with many other family and friends, both in Winnipeg and The Pas. He was predeceased by his son Matthew in 2016.

Doug was a “life of the party” kind of guy. It was hard not to have a smile on your face being around him. He was always ready to share a good laugh and helping hand. A burly looking man, with a true heart of gold. He was always involved in sports, whether it be playing, coaching or in the beer gardens. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved to be on the water, with a fishing rod or two ready to go.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 1 P.M.
