DEBBIE LYNN SIMNES

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Debbie Lynn Simnes (nee Cass) on Monday September 24, 2018. With her daughter and friends by her side Debbie passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital.

Left to cherish Debbie’s memory are her daughter Amanda (Aaron); beloved granddaughter Kayleigh; as well as her brother Barry (Allison); sister Judy (Neil); brother-in-law John, nephew, nieces, other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by the love of her life Murray, her sister Carol and her parents Katharina and Norman Cass.

We will all remember Debbie’s gift for avoiding the camera, amazing creativity, love of shopping, gentle nature and the enormous amounts of love she gave to her friends and family. She was a very loving and generous person with a beautiful soul.  She was always there to help anyone, give advice or just listen.  Debbie devoted her life to her husband, daughter, granddaughter, family and friends. She will be missed greatly every day and forever be in our hearts and thoughts.

We would like to thank all the staff at Cancer Care Manitoba, Riverview Health Centre and Seven Oaks Hospital.  We would also like to send a special thank you to Marg, Allison, Elaine, Sherine, Elsie, Colleen and a few others with all your help through Mom’s journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Debbie’s honor at the family home on Sunday September 30, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
