DAVID WILLIAM JORDAN

We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of David William Jordan on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Portage La Prairie Hospital. Dave was born October 10, 1959 to Murray and Effie Jordan.

He was predeceased by his mother Effie and his son Christopher. Dave leaves to mourn him his loving wife Debbie; son Matthew (Jonelle); father Murray (Peggy); brothers Wally Rebec (Jacquie), Raymond Rebec (Mary), Wayne Jordan, Lance Fuczek (Grace), and Lorne Fuczek (Cheryl)

For over 40 years Dave was employed with several car dealerships and garages as a car mechanic. He was involved with Scouts Canada as a cub and scout leader. His fondest memories were spending time with other leaders and boys on camping trips and scouting activities. He was very proud to have his son Matt involved with him. Dave was a member of the Austin Museum for over 30 years where he was a board member and made many lasting friendships.

Dave and Debbie were married for 39 years and in 2006 they celebrated their 25^th Anniversary by renewing their vows on the beach in Oahu, Hawaii.

Motorcycling was a favorite pastime for Dave. He and his riding buddy Debbie would ride the Harley participating in the Ride for Dad, Breast Cancer Ride, and Winnipeg No Kill Animal Shelter Ride. Their travels took them to various places throughout Manitoba and South Dakota.

Dave and Debbie also enjoyed their 5^th wheel trailer whether it was setting up camp in Birds Hill Park, Austin, Manitoba or travelling to Western Canada and South Dakota.

Dave was a wonderful son to his Dad Murray, a loving and supportive father to Matt and a caring and devoted husband to Debbie. He was a good brother and friend to many.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Amant Centre, Winnipeg Humane Society or Craig Street Cats.
