CAROLYN ANN WAYNE (nee FOSTER) After a lengthy illness, we are deeply saddened to announce that Carol passed away at Beausejour Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the age of 72 years. Left to cherish Carol’s memory are her husband Michael, of 52 years of marriage; son Mike (Tracy); brother Brian (Sandra); grandchildren Mitchell and Morgan Traa; as well as many special friends and neighbours. She was predeceased by her daughter Lorrilee Kathren Traa, April 4, 2008. Carol was born October 11, 1939 in Fredericton, NB to Shirley and Agnes Foster and was married to Michael on June 4, 1960. She and her family moved to Pinawa, MB before finally settling in Beausejour, MB. She specialized in managing data entry at offices of the Motor Vehicle Branch and Canada Revenue Agency in New Brunswick and Atomic Energy of Canada in Pinawa. Carol was very active in her community as President of the Women’s Auxiliary at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 132, volunteered her time at the Beausejour Food Bank and participated in various fundraising activities for her community. She was a great wife, a loving mother and a very proud grandmother who loved spending time with her family and tending to her dogs. She enjoyed doing many crafts and took great pride in her needlework. Carol was thoughtful, generous and would never hesitate to lend a hand to someone in need. You left us with so many memories and you will always live deep within our hearts. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nurses of Beausejour Hospital for their outstanding and compassionate care during this time, and also the many close friends and neighbours that have kept us in their thoughts and prayers. Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 530 Atlantic Ave., Beausejour, MB. Interment will follow in St. Mary Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery.
