Dear Ann, Sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She was a special lady. My husband and I had a wonderful time visiting her and Alex on one of our vacations. It was a road trip as my husband was from Saskatchewan and we made a stop at your parents home. I was able to bring back one of your dads wooden flower carts. It is full of cactus still and I think of them often when I look at it. Take Care. Hugs, Pat

Carol was a member of the High School Class of Wauseon, Ohio in 1951. She was such a joy to talk to before our reunion and contributed notes to our class news briefs. She also sent us pictures of her family which were shared with the class. Our Sympathy is extended to her husband Alex and daughter Ann and her family. We will miss her and thank her for communication with her classmates.

To Ann, Fred, Jakob and Simon....I wanted to send my sympathies to you on the passing of your Mom/Grandmother. I just heard the news and my heart is saddened. I am praying for the comfort of the Holy Spirit to be with you during this hard time. I remember your Mom with fond memories. I still have the Christmas tree ornaments that she helped us make in grade 1 (I think it was grade 1 anyway), and I think of your family every year when I dig my tree out. She was a sweet lady!

I am so sorry you have lost Carol. I met her many times on the Fourth floor of Sturgeon Creek II where my mother, Gertrude Berry lived. She was always very serene and gracious. My mother was so happy to meet people who had lived in Saskatchewan especially at Spy Hill because she was from Tantallon.
